OUR SERVICES
Through our offices in Valencia and La Coruña, and our associates with total mobility along the Mediterranean and Atlantic Coasts of Spain, we provide integral services in:- Legal counsel and defence. We provide advice to P&I Clubs, Insurers, Shipowners and Charterers on the specific requirements/regulations operative in Spain, so that the best protection of the client's interests is assured. Our Legal Department deals with all kind of legal issues regarding maritime transportation, insurance and trade. The more specific topics within this area of practice include: Protection & Indemnity; bills of lading and other carriage contracts and related disputes; cargo claims; quality claims; damage and shortfall disputes; ship arrest; enforcement of maritime claims and other commercial disputes, etc.
Our
services include legal advice on marine casualties, such as:
collisions, fire and explosions, personal injury, salvage, towage,
wreck removal and recovery, general average, damage to harbour
facilities, port terminals and offshore structures, pollution,
environmental damage and clean up, criminal prosecution of crewmembers
regarding maritime accidents, claims for stevedore accidents or fatalities, repatriation of stowaways, etc. We also
deal with all kind of sanctioning administrative proceedings regarding,
among other, to Port State Control, escape of stowaways, breach of
customs’ regulations, etc
- Claims adjustments. We have been handling and adjusting claims for P&I Clubs in both the International Group and fixed premium Clubs underwritten at Lloyds or P&I Insurers since 1982.
- Technical assistance. We have associated chartered engineers and surveyors specialised in mechanical, electrical, electronic, marine and agricultural engineering and naval architecture, with experience in all aspects of marine claim including collisions, dock damage, cargo damage, engine breakdown, etc. Our Technical Department has obtained extensive experience in steel cargoes based on a lifetime experience of one of our consultant engineers in the construction, installation and operation of all types of steel rolling mills in Spain and other parts of the world.
- Sanitary intervention. Our associated doctors, dentists, food experts and veterinarians registered in Spain have established a long-term relationship with local hospitals and laboratories of prestige to care for the sanitary needs of our client. They also provide assistance in monitoring hospitalisation of injured or ill crewmembers.
Our staff and associated professionals are available 24 hours, 365 days per year to cover any incident that might arise, or provide advice for any inquiry our clients may have.
